We want shopping at Perch Home online to be as pleasurable as shopping at our retail store.  If you have any questions prior to purchasing please CONTACT US and we will respond as soon as possible.  Please review our online shopping policies and our shipping rates to be clear.

 Sales Tax

Perch Home is located in Maplewood, NJ.  Sales tax of 7% will be charged to all mailing addresses in the state of NJ.

 Shipping

Up to $100 $7.95

Over $100 Free

Free Shipping excludes furnitures/oversized item surcharges as listed on individual listings.  Expedited shipping is not available at this time.

We ship via UPS Ground and USPS Priority Mail. Fees listed are for the Continental US.  At this time we do not offer shipping outside the Continental US. We do our very best to ship orders within 3 business days of order date. Additional freight charges on furnishings will be billed separately. We do not replace or refund items that are lost or damaged by the postal service or delivery carrier unless insurance was requested and purchased prior to order being shipped.

 Exchanges

If you are unsatisfied with your online purchase, you may CONTACT US for an exchange or store credit within 14 days of your package's delivery.  The merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and must be in unused condition.  Perch Home will issue you a Return Authorization Number that you must include with returned merchandise.  Please send it back to us pre-paid and insured.  Perch Home is not responsible for return shipping charges and is not responsible for merchandise that is lost, stolen, or damaged during its return to our shop.

 Final Sale Items

Some items are Final Sale and cannot be exchanged.  

Custom orders are final sale.  These include but not limited to the following items:

Chilewich rugs,  Dash & Albert rugs, engraved glasses, all personalized jewelry, and Sugarboo art orders.

Earrings, perfume, lotions and liquids of any kind, books, gourmet, food and perishables, Holiday décor and Clearance/Sale items are all FINAL SALE.

 Damaged Goods

We pack our merchandise very carefully for its trip to its new owner.  Occasionally merchandise does get damaged by the shipper while in transit.  If this is the case please notify us IMMEDIATELY via email or phone.  If possible email a photo of the damage.  Please save the packaging so UPS or USPS can inspect.   Do not mail merchandise back to Perch Home without contacting us first and getting an RA number.  Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or all claims are null and void.

 Back-ordered Merchandise

Perch Home is a small retail boutique and occasionally an item may be sold out in the shop before it is updated online.  If that happens you will receive an email notifying you of the backorder and the approximate ship date.  Please respond to this email so your order is not held in the event that you have purchased additional items and would like the remainder shipped ASAP. 

 Cancellations

We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel your order after it has been placed.  Please call us ASAP if you need to cancel an order after it has been placed.  1-973-821-4852.  If it has not shipped we can cancel the order;  if it has left our shop please refer to our exchange policy.

 Privacy

We will never sell or share your information with any third party. Any information we gather about you through your use of our contact form or through the shopping cart process on our online shop will be kept confidential. We will use such information only to reply to your inquiry or contact you about your purchase, if necessary, and for our regular email updates to our customers.
