Perch Home is located in the charming village of Maplewood in NJ and is about 15 miles outside NYC. Perch Home was opened in November 2006 by Michele Bessey to share her love of classic, timeless design with a dash of nostalgic quirkiness thrown in. The shop is two apartments cobbled together and each room has new discoveries. Every item in the store is hand-selected by Michele who strives to bring her customers classic items such as oversized handmade frames, luxury candles, and pottery mixed with artisan jewelry, vintage finds and little surprises and curiosities such as bags of fool's gold and birthday crowns. Perch Home strives for surprise and delight in every corner of the shop.
